Gadmen Alpenrose, Switzerland

Gadmen Alpenrose is a chalet-style hotel located in the scenic Alps, offering a unique stay with shared bathroom facilities and a cozy atmosphere. The property features amenities such as a restaurant serving Indian and European cuisines, free WiFi, and outdoor seating areas, which contribute positively to the overall experience. However, the rating suggests that while some aspects are satisfactory, others may not meet expectations, particularly regarding staff communication and room comfort. Guests have noted that the location is convenient for those looking to explore the Susten Pass, but there are recurring concerns about the thin walls in the rooms, leading to noise disturbances from neighboring guests. Additionally, the reception has been described as disorganized, which may lead to frustration during check-in. The cleanliness ratings are moderate, indicating that while some guests found the accommodations acceptable, others reported issues that could affect comfort. Overall, while the property offers a charming alpine experience, potential guests should be aware of the mixed reviews regarding staff responsiveness and room noise. It may be best suited for those who prioritize location and unique character over luxury and modern amenities.
