Viva Dominicus Beach by Wyndham, A Trademark All Inclusive

Viva Dominicus Beach by Wyndham is an all-inclusive beachfront resort in Bayahibe, Dominican Republic. However, a large fire reportedly almost completely destroyed the resort and led authorities to evacuate approximately 1,690 guests to other hotels and nearby accommodations. The fire spread rapidly, and its cause remained under investigation. This incident creates a fundamental uncertainty about whether the resort is operating, accessible, or able to provide the advertised accommodation and amenities. The neighboring Viva Dominicus Palace resort was reported as undamaged, but that does not establish the condition or availability of Viva Dominicus Beach. Earlier guest feedback described an active resort with a well-regarded beach, pools, entertainment, and friendly staff, alongside concerns about cleanliness, food quality, service consistency, and some air-conditioning problems. Those observations should not be treated as current operating information after the reported fire. Travellers should verify the resort’s current status directly and confirm any reservation, relocation arrangements, and refund or cancellation options before relying on this property for a stay.
