Baymont by Wyndham Shakopee

Baymont by Wyndham Shakopee is a hotel in Shakopee, near Canterbury Park and Valleyfair. Advertised amenities include an indoor pool, breakfast, and an arcade, while guest feedback also describes uneven room cleanliness, odors, and maintenance. Those routine features are secondary to a serious safety and operating concern. The property's license was revoked after 84 police calls, including incidents involving assaults, threats, and allegations of criminal sexual conduct. This does not establish the circumstances of every call or what conditions may exist now, but it is a material reason to question whether staying here is appropriate. Guest feedback also points to inconsistent room conditions, including musty smells, cleanliness concerns, unreliable temperature control, and uncomfortable beds. Given the license revocation and reported police activity, travellers should exercise substantial caution and consider alternative accommodation until the property's current operating and safety status is independently clear.
