Chambres dhôtes La Bastane

This is a characterful rural guest house in a restored château and winery, set among vineyards above the surrounding countryside. Guest feedback consistently describes the setting as peaceful, attractive and suited to slowing down, with hosts who are welcoming and attentive. The property works particularly well as a base for wine-focused trips, scenic drives and relaxed short breaks rather than an urban stay. Rooms are presented with a blend of historic character and modern renovation, and guests commonly describe them as comfortable, spacious or charming. Feedback also highlights quiet surroundings, pleasant views and good beds. One guest reported that the assigned room did not match the photograph shown online, so room appearance and layout may vary from the pictured accommodation. The property has no lift. The advertised experience includes breakfast, free WiFi, on-site parking, a garden, terrace and access to the vineyard and winery. Wine tasting and tours are central attractions, while cots and highchairs can be requested for families. Guests repeatedly praise the friendly hosts and personal welcome. Housekeeping and some guest arrangements are request-based, so this is a more personal property than a fully standardized hotel. Check-in is advertised from 5:00 PM until midnight, with advance contact required for arrival instructions and for arrivals after 10:00 PM. Check-out is before noon, and early or late arrangements depend on availability. Parking is advertised as free, while the airport shuttle carries a surcharge and a city tax is listed separately. Dining may require planning because one guest found local restaurants difficult to locate. The hilltop vineyard setting offers broad rural views, quiet surroundings and convenient access to wine country, nearby villages and regional sightseeing. It suits couples, wine enthusiasts and travelers seeking a calm countryside retreat with personable hosting. Guests wanting extensive walkable dining, an urban atmosphere, lift access or a guaranteed room matching a particular photograph may find the setting and accommodation format less suitable.
